{"id":993,"date":"2026-04-05T13:14:31","date_gmt":"2026-04-05T13:14:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.writerspeak.org\/?p=993"},"modified":"2026-04-05T22:21:12","modified_gmt":"2026-04-05T22:21:12","slug":"prototype","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.writerspeak.org\/index.php\/2026\/04\/05\/prototype\/","title":{"rendered":"PROTOTYPE"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sometimes the past becomes so heavy&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">it catches up with me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And they tell me don\u2019t worry,&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">because your past isn\u2019t who you are.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But is it really not?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It\u2019s like a wave, a tsunami-&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">and it strikes with vengeance.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And rage, but sadness&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">all at the same time.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Oh, and I can run.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As fast as my feet may let me.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But it\u2019s too late.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For once I realize,&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I\u2019m already running,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">underwater,&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">drowning.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And the pain of floating memories, strikes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once, twice\u2026&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">How can you tell me&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">this isn\u2019t who I am?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When this version is now,&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">all I\u2019m able to see.&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sometimes the past becomes so heavy&nbsp; it catches up with me.
